ECG

To evaluate possible cardiac disease, we can perform an ECG (electrocardiogram). Six electrodes are placed on the chest and 4 more attached to the hands and feet to record the electrical impulses of the heart.

An ECG can also be useful to diagnose heart disease as a cause for respiratory distress in case of already existing pulmonary disease such as asthma.
